William Moorhead

The Rt Rev William Henry Moorhead , DD (1882–1962) was the fourth Bishop of Fredericton.〔(Anglican Bishops of Canada )〕
He was born in Longford,〔(History of Drumlish Parish )〕 educated at Bishops University and ordained in 1912.〔"The Clergy List" London, Kelly’s, 1913〕 He was a curate at St Peter, Sherbrooke then a Chaplain to the CEF until 1919. He then held incumbencies at St Luke’s, Grand-Mère, QuebecCrockford's Clerical Directory1947-48 Oxford, OUP,1947〕 and St Paul, Saint John, New Brunswick until 1936 when he became Dean of Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton.〔(World Cat )〕
Three years later he ascended to the Episcopate,〔(New Brunswick Museum )〕 retiring in 1956.〔(Cathedral Web-site )〕
